Mark Kenneth Woods – Created By/Executive Producer/Host

Woods is a multi-award winning filmmaker and one of Canada’s most prominent independent 2SLGBTQ+ voices. His work has screened in over 400 festivals and galleries around the world, including Paris’ Centre Pompidou and The British Museum in London, and has been broadcast on television in over a dozen countries.

Michael Yerxa – Guest Producer/Host

Known for his outspokenness as an original cast member on Logo TV and MTV Canada’s 1 Girl 5 Gays, Yerxa has also worked behind the scenes as a producer on some of Canada’s most successful factual television shows including Still Standing and The Amazing Race Canada.


Christian Yves Jones – Guest Producer/Host

Jones is a Philippine-born, New Zealand raised filmmaker whose has an interest in seeking and sharing stories of the LGBTQ+ community and Asian diaspora. His video artwork, The Petal (2020) was featured in Pride in Chinatown MMXX, curated by Paul Wong. Jones was the Director of Photography on the short film To Make Ends Meat 心頭肉 (2021) directed by Kimberly Ho, which won Best Overall Short Film at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, 2021.


Saba Akhtar – Guest Producer/Host

Akhtar is Pakistani-Canadian actor, writer and interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto and raised in Houston, Texas. She has performed on the stages of Canadian Stage, Buddies in Bad Times, and Summerworks Festival and recently appeared in the short film Lemons which debuted at the Next Fest Emerging Arts Festival (2022). Their work has been shown at the Paprika Festival (2022), Reel Asian Film Festival (2021), Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (2021), the National Arts Centre’s Transformation Project (2021), Rendezvous With Madness Festival (2020) and more.


Kimberly Ho – Guest Producer/Host

Kimberly Ho 何文蔚 is a Canadian filmmaker, collaborator, and interdisciplinary artist. Growing up in a working class immigrant family, Kimberly’s work is nourished by collaborative processes and organically aims to be non-hiercharcal. In their artistic practice, they seek to explore their Hakka diaspora through the physical body and food culture, framing new media as a dimension of queer futurisms, and immersive art as a site of liberation.


Michael Venus – Guest Producer/Host

Venus is a multi-disciplinary artist and culture creator based in Montreal where he is Executive Director and Chief Curator at Age of Union Earth Centre. Venus just launched the final season of Never Apart TV, a queer arts program and this year celebrates 30 years of his art collective The House of Venus. Michael is also the founder of the wearable art, drag and performance festival “Wiggle” and is known for his female alter ego Miss Cotton.


James Hunter – Guest Producer/Director

Hunter is a director and cinematographer from Toronto, Ontario. He specializes in creating online video content that thrives on streaming services and social media and brings colour, comedy and queerness into all his projects. He is the founder of James Hunter Productions Inc. which is currently based in Toronto and has worked as cinematographer, producer, writer and director on multiple episodes of Pride.
